WEBSITES OF INTEREST TO INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS STUDENTS

The following is a list of some websites which students enrolled in International Relations courses at EU Business School may found useful. Except where noted their contents are available for free.


General

  • Jamestown Foundation. Presitigious US think-tank specialised in Eurasia, China and Terrorism. Almost all materials available for free, including their "Eurasia Daily Monitor" and "China Brief" newsletters. Strongly recommended for students.
  • Stratfor. Private intelligence corporation. Most current articles available to subscribers onlye. Its series on the geopolitics of different countries (available for free) is particulary noteworthy. Its video dispatches are available for free from their website or their Youtube channel. Strongly recommended to students.
  • International Relations and Security Network. Its articles deal with all sorts of topics.
  • Center for Contemporary Conflict, US Navy Postgraduate School. It contains a number of interesting research papers.
  • The Heritage Foundation. Its lectures are available as audio files from their website and deal with many issues.
  • The Times. Prestigious London-based newspaper.
  • The Economist. Prestigious London-based weekly magazine.

  • Blogging the Arthashastra. Blog by London-based Indian writer Sunny Singh on India's foremost treatise on political philosophy and strategy.


OTHER

  • Perry-Castañeda Library Map Collection. You can find all sorts of maps in this website.
  • Churchill Centre. Devoted to the life deeds of Winston Churchill. Some materials available only to members.
  • RAND Corporation. Reports covering all sorts of issues, an executive summary is usually provided alongside full papers.
  • Open CRS. Website which regularly posts papers published by the Congressional Research Service, a public think-tank serving the US Congress.
