Speakers On Campus

In conjunction with our 'Learning from Leaders' initiative, EU hosts guest speaker sessions that bring accomplished business professionals, entrepreneurs and visionaries to EU's campuses, giving students the unique opportunity to learn from and interact with industry experts in the classroom.

Previous speakers that have been invited to address students at EU include industry innovators, management and CEOs of prestigious international companies like Deloitte, Massimo Dutti (Inditex Group), Amazon, PUMA and Nestlé.

In a more intimate and interactive setting, our 'In the Spotlight' initiative invites speakers from across all industries who’ve successfully connected their passions with their professions. Students are encouraged to take on the role of interviewer and host a live discussion on trending topics like sustainable fashion, solutions against food waste and smart cities with guest speakers in front of attending students.

At past 'In the Spotlight' events, students had the opportunity to run a mock press conference with a sports journalist from Betevé and to network with various business leaders like the CEO of Teresa Carles Healthy Foods.

EU's Masterclasses are exclusive guest speaker sessions for our master’s and MBA students. They are obligatory but students can choose which session to attend. The sessions have different formats: some speakers choose to present a case study and others opt to analyze a business idea or concept.

A range of topics are covered in our Entrepreneurship Workshops in order to ensure that there is something of interest to students of all levels and in all specializations. These optional sessions are more interactive and focus on entrepreneurship and take place directly at company offices. Some of the past masterclasses and workshops were hosted by industry specialists from leading companies such as Volkswagen, Facebook, HP, Pepe jeans, Audi and Euroleague basketball.
