EU Business School's Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management program (título propio) is packed with sports management theory, business, entrepreneurial studies, all with an international perspective on the sports world. Enhanced with real case studies, this program provides students with the tools they need in order to launch themselves in the sports market.
Program Structure
Option 1: EU Bachelor's Degrees (título propio)
This is a six-semester, three-year program with 210 ECTS. The first year comprises core courses to provide students with a solid base in all fundamental business areas. Specialization subjects are incorporated from the third semester onwards. On successfully completing six semesters, two final case studies and a dissertation, students earn an internationally accredited bachelor’s degree from EU Business School Switzerland and a state-recognized university bachelor's degree from Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain, (título propio).

Operating and managing the facilities must be carried out in the most cost-effective, sustainable way, whether the facilities are for long-term use by a community or for special events with short-term duration. The course is designed to emphasize the importance of proper planning and management of sports facilities. Tools studied include needs assessment, feasibility study, business plan, operational plan, revenue sources and pricing structure, facility management infrastructure and performance assessment. Theoretical models are applied to real and simulated cases.

Dissertation Seminars
Show detailsThese seminars provide support and information for students during the dissertation process, including the documentation and administrative requirements, and assistance with topic selection, research focus and dissertation proposals.
Final Cases: Business/Specialization
Show detailsAll students must prepare two final cases and successfully defend them before a panel of judges. The first is a general business case and the second is in the student’s specialization subject.

Show detailsThe dissertation component marks the culminating academic requirement for students at all levels and allows them to identify and investigate real world challenges, and to produce an independent piece of academic work reflecting their knowledge, research and analysis.
Option 2: Bachelor's (título propio) + BA (Hons) in Business Management
This is a seven-semester, three-year program with 240 ECTS. The first-year core courses provide students with a solid base in all fundamental business areas. Specialization subjects are incorporated in the third, fourth and fifth semesters. In the third year, students focus on business management to equip them with key managerial concepts, theories and tools necessary for any business field. Upon the successful completion of two final cases and a dissertation, students earn a university-specific bachelor’s degree (título propio) awarded by Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia (UCAM), Spain, and a Certificate of Specialization in one of the seven majors from EU Business School Switzerland. In addition students are awarded a state-recognized BA (Hons) in Business Management from the University of Derby, U.K. To earn these degree titles, students study in a hybrid learning environment.
As well as opening doors in the business job market, this option is recommended for students wishing to do graduate or post-graduate studies at a public university and/or work in the public sector.

Tools studied include needs assessment, feasibility study, business plan, operational plan, revenue sources and pricing structure, facility management infrastructure and performance assessment.
