Cloud Systems Administrator
A cloud systems administrator is responsible for choosing cloud providers and cloud technologies as well as configuring and supporting cloud systems. They are also tasked with setting up private clouds and monitoring patches, permissions and service deployments. Another key responsibility of cloud systems administrators is the creation of policies for cloud computing systems and the constant monitoring of network performance and cloud resources.
Database Designer
A database designer is responsible for defining a detailed database design taking into account all the information needs of an organization. Database designers are also tasked with identifying the data to be stored in the database and the careful selection of suitable structures to store this data. A professional in this area should have a solid working knowledge of data modeling and database design.
IT Consultant
An IT consultant is an external analyst who is responsible for evaluating a company's IT systems in order to assist in ensuring that business objectives are met. Their main day-to-day duties include the analyzing and diagnosing of a company's IT infrastructure, understanding a client's business needs, as well as designing and implementing a technology-related solution. Required skills for this job position include analytical skills and technical know-how.
Database Analyst
A database analyst is in charge of managing and maintaining an organization’s database. These professionals will identify and solve database needs, program, detect problems and ensure security. Database design, in a business context, is the organization of data according to a database model. A database designer will determine what data must be stored and how the data elements interrelate. The field of database design involves a collection of steps that help with designing, creating, implementing, and maintaining a business's data management systems.
IT technical support is the department which monitors and maintains an organization’s computer systems and networks. In charge of installations and configuring computer systems, this area of IT is frequently required to diagnose hardware and software faults. They may work in-house or be required to undertake their tasks online or by phone.
Technology sales encompasses the commercial activities of hardware (computers, servers, …), software (mobile apps, … ) and service (big data, cloud computing, ...) companies. As well as identifying and connecting with clients, technology sales professionals must gain a deep understanding of a client’s diverse and specific business needs and of the technological solutions that their products offer.
